Why did you send him a link for firmware for a wrt1900ac v1? He has a wrt1900acs v1. The wrt1900acs v1 can run any of the available firmware.

As for recommendations I would give the latest a try.

I dont use Upnp, I just need a good working and stable version if it mean an earlier version I am ok.
Just tried this DD-WRT v3.0-r34578 std (01/19/1, but my real Internet speed dropped to half of what I am geting with 1900ACv1 Kong version.
Appreciate any suggestion.

Guys, Sorry I lied, the speed is fine, the dropped in speed only happen on my LAN desktop I need to troubleshoot why later, on my wifi android phone and laptop I get a speed of about 29mbp and upload 4.5mbp which fine, my paid iP are 30D/5U-mbp.
It appear to be stable it's has been running for 24hrs no crash yet once I add more settings I shall see how it behave, so far it good.
I will be happy if I can get stable firm for 1900ACv1, I am still on Kong mod, which may not have the latest features.
Anyone care to share their views on which of the BL mod that is stable for 1900ACv1.
