So, I just tried upgrading my wrt600n with build r34311 and my router is still reporting that it is on r33937, so I dropped back to r34080 and the same thing.
To investigate a little further, I ran a quick md5sum on both of the .bin files, (that I carefully saved in different directories) and come up with the same md5sum; 638b72de639b1f10f6587d2baf62aa32
Are these builds not getting updated? Is there something wrong with the ftp? Or am I doing something wrong here?
I am at a loss here.
#Update:
I had to drop back to r33772 to find a build with a different md5sum and actually reported a correct build version.
I am fine (for now) running r33772. I am just wondering if this was an oversight or something went sideways with the upload or the compile because obviously r33937 is not supposed to be in the ftp. The directories/builds are; ...r33772, r33986...
On top of that, I was having issues with that build (r33937) dropping my connection.
I would like to be running/testing the latest build, but I would also like to keep the features included in mega. USB is one that I have to have.
So I suppose rather than having problems, this is more of just a heads up? Or is this SOP? IDK, I'm not complaining.
I have too WRT600n but I don't use him because WAN to LAN throughput is about 60 to 80 mbps dependently how many services is turn on. My WAN connection is 120Mbps _________________ Linksys EA6900

This is old, but there isn't much about this old router. Are you still using r33772? Successfully?
I had actually updated to r36330-mega, but in the meantime I purchased a WRT3200AC for my Internet use.
I am revisiting because I am turning my WRT600N into a switch for my home networking needs and figured that I might as well update the firmware. _________________ Linksys WRT600N
