Router Model: WNDR3800
Status: OK
Reset: Yes (30-30-30, coming from 30342)
Errors: Maybe
I flashed two of these, one in a wired repeater mode, and also added a couple new subnets for a project. Exercised them fairly well in 2g and 5g bands, and all looked good. Except.
3-4 times during this, after making a change (to some aspect of bridging or routing, different each time) they failed to respond afterwards to either telnet or http, but continued passing data. A reboot showed the change having taken, and all was well after the reboot. Note these 3-4 times were in dozens, maybe 100 changes I was making, so not major nor consistent.
Question: I always do a reset based on guidance from years ago, but is there general recommendation now when it is needed? As my configs get more complex it is harder and harder to install new firmware and also reset.

As I wrote a few posts before, I still can not upgrade/downgrade to any version. Webrevert does not work, Factory to ddwrt neither.
I tried 30x. I can see from any firmware after flash/reboot still r34080.
Please, could somebody hlep me with this problem? I would like to revert back to r25179 which fits me well.

TPlink TL-WR1043ND v1
Thank you
I don’t know nor have I tried this but maybe give something like the method in the link below a try. This video is for the v3 but hopefully someone savvier than I could confirm if this method will work for your v1. If so then you could back to factory stock then you could start over with your old build’s factory-to-ddwrt.bin file
Thank you for your reply.
If someone confirm, that this is safe, I will do it.
I have v1 and it could be different. I do not want to damage my device...
Status: dont upgrade from 12-04-2017-r33986
Reset: no
Errors: bad firmware...
I recently stitched after a failed attempt to flash my dead router with firmware r33525. Spent 1.5 hours of time in search of adequate instructions and was able to update to 12-04-2017-r33986. And now I again can not flash via web interface router from 12-04-2017-r33986 to 12-14-2017-r34080... Write here when there will be firmware which will be stitched through the web interface. Write the full instructions for the firmware via SSH (telnet, putty) or give a link if these instructions are available on this forum.
P.S. on 12-04-2017-r33986 dont work snmp...

I tried to upgrade my TPlink WR1043ND v1 by this version.
When I want to revert back to the older version, it is not possible. I did it 10 times without any successful.
Do I have only I the problem or there are more users with the same problem?
