You are welcome of course, although it hasn't been much effort on my part.
So far the logs haven't been of much help because Syslog stops before any useful information can be saved.
In the hopes of getting the information required I installed a 3.5mm female jack to serial port on my WRT1900AC v1. I have the necessary cable and drivers and it's been tested.
I am back on my WRT1900AC v1 with 33772.
I have a serial profile open on PuTTY
I made a copy of the initial uboot output
Now I am leaving the serial profile open to capture the next uboot output when it self-reboots.
Hopefully this will be the missing information that helps Brainslayer.
I'll update when I have both to compare.
can you post how to do it so i can contribute also.
*I would recommend at least one extra 3.5mm connector - just in case.
*The JST 2.0mm PH 6-Pin Female Housing Connector & the 3.5mm connectors I ordered were cheap, but took a while to ship from China.

I know this thread is for the v1 router. Mine is v2, but I also hear interference.
I'm grateful that you folks have mentioned the interference. The sound I hear is different from that described above and I thought it was coming from the router. Couple that noise with the sub-3mbps I was getting on the 2.4 band, I assumed my router was dying and bought a new one on amazon. But I saw this thread and canceled the order just before shipping. Still waiting to find out if I made it.
The router shares enclosed shelf space with three other devices, of which I thought none had a speaker. The NUC715BNK might have one, I'll physically check when I get a chance.
Meantime, I'm back on 31924. I haven't pinned it down yet, but ever since I went back to the older version, the network has not been as stable as before. Maybe something in the NVRAM didn't get erased when I switched partitions. Or maybe the router is actually dying. _________________ Netgear r8000 - DD-WRT v3.0-r46380

I don't know if this is related to this build or not on my wrt 1900ac v1...
I have two nexus 5 and a nexus 6p cellphone. The nexus 6p can see the 5ghz network, but the nexus 5 do not. The nexus 5's simply roll over to the 2.5Ghz network.
Is this problem related to the problem that others are having with this build (and others)? And if not, is this likely to be a phone settings problem or a router settings problem? is there a good place to start with making the settings work? _________________ Linksys WRT1900AC V1

Just curious if anyone has heard back from Brainslayer since the log was sent to him? Anything new in the changelog? _________________ DD-WRT Installation & Setup TUTORIAL

The LEDE people have this working now (v1 on 4.9 kernel). I'm sure that Brainslayer could look at the thread to see what kernel build options were changed:

Thanks for the update! I haven't checked that thread in awhile and I wasn't aware the cause for the reboots had been found.
For anyone interested: the reboot issue seems to have been solved by removing CPU Power Management. This is the feature that drops the CPU Frequency from 1200 MHz to 600 MHz when the router is not under a load.
Maybe Brainslayer figured he could kill two birds with one stone by moving DD-WRT to the 4.14 Kernel.
The 4.9 has a projected end-of-life of one year from now while the newly released 4.14 doesn't expire for two years.

I have been watching also, seeing the changing to 4.14, and if it is true about the power saving, and everyone probably has an opinion on it...
But, I always disable all power saving settings on everything I can, so many problems it can cause.
Example, when I was a contractor for Time Warner, I had SO many house calls to do, due to the adapter never waking up.
Anyways, maybe it will be an extra Christmas gift... _________________ Tutorial for flashing WRT series WRT Installation,Upgrade & Basic Setup–Cliff Notes
