I am using wrt1900acs, enabled proftpd and samba, everytime I transfer a file larger than 4GB, there is an error and stopped, I then ssh to the router and that file size becomes 0. However, it works when I use scp command to transfer the large file (usb flash drive formatted with ext4). I have tried 3 different USB sticks, FAT32, ext3, ext4, but no help. Does anyone know if I can transfer more than 4GB large file using smb ?

Many thanks

I believe that 4GB is the max file size with fat32. I wonder if you are running into that with the method you are using.
