Hello, I have a rt-ac66u and I was able to load Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r33607 giga (10/25/17) to it and run openvpn server and it is working very well.
I am trying to use an old router as a dd-wrt client but I guess the dd-wrt builds are too old for it to work properly. I have a wrt54gv5, wrt54gv2 and a wrt54gsv1. I found build 14869 for the wrt54gsv1 but that is quite a bit behind the build available for the rt-ac66u, is my gear just too old or is there a new build just not listed? My only goal is to be able to run openvpn client on one of these. |

This has been asked a lot recently; please search before posting. Use build 33555; 33607 has wireless issues.  Also, read the Peacock announcement, and don't use the Router Database; 14896 is a bad build.
