Router Model: TPLINK Archer C1900
Firmware Version: DD-WRT v3.0-r31924 (05/02/17)
Kernel Version: Linux 4.4.65 #1437 SMP Tue May 2 07:09:57 CEST 2017 armv7l
Status: Working
Reset: NO reset during firmware upgrade, upgrade from stock firmware
Errors: none
Connection to 5 Ghz with VHT80 initially 866.6 Mbps but drops after a few seconds (and stays) to 433.3 Mbps. With stock connection was stable at 866.6 Mbps.
The throughput for 433.3 Mbps is however quite ok.

when booted, ebtables uses 100% cpu causing performance problems.
VPN status page is blank - /etc/openvpnlog.sh reports a line 20: syntax error: bad substitution.
-Rebooted with VPN disabled - ebtables appears be fine. Enable VPN after rebooted - ebtables does not appear in process table and CPU load stays low.

Possibly an issue with ebtables @ boot?
This version have the same issue with ebtable. When you try to execute an ebtables comment ... this one is not working...
I have updated the ticket about Ebtable issue for this version.

[dd-wrt.v24-31924_NEWD-2_K3.x_mega.bin]
Install over 31571 No Reset
gateway
QOS HFSC FQ_Codel on a 10/3 line
ssh tunnel
restricted guest on wl0.1 w/target DNS
local DNS
static leases
openVPN server TUN
all working very well
Reset: Nope, I like it dirty.
Errors/Issues: Couldn't access the web interface (httpd).
Logged in via telnet and tried reflash using the wget method. Didn't work well. Don't know if it was because I'm a bumbling idiot or what? Anyhow, I popped the lid off and hooked up my USB-to-serial cable and made a dirty flash (tftp) using factory-to-dd-wrt.chk. Worked like a charm.
The second try:
Router: Netgear R7000
Firmware:r31924 (using serial recovery)
Previous: r31924 (failed flash)
Kernel: Linux 4.4.65 #1435 SMP Tue May 2 06:49:13

Reset: Nope, I like it dirty.
Errors/Issues: Not yet. (Uptime 12hr 31min)

I use my routers with pretty basic configuration. Only having WiFi + BT coexist enabled.
I don't have any USB devices connected.
On my Linksys E1500 whenever I reset to default using a k3 build I can't change my wireless channel or mode. I only have Mixed wireless mode and auto channel in the options. K2.6 builds don't seem to have this issue. If I dirty flash a k3 build over a k2.6 build everything seems to work fine.
So after using this for the past nine days i have noticed that the 2.4ghz and AC5ghz wireless range and load times are a good bit stronger and faster than the last build.
However the TX still transmits even when any connected devices has been taken off the network.
