Errors: very shaky wifi, both 2.4 and 5 GHz. My chromecast drops and that never happened before.
Uptime: 1 day, 7:27
No upgrade in almost 6 months, now two times in just a couple of days. I will go back to r31899.
Maybe a reset would help.
I actually did just that before i downgraded, just to see if the shaky wifi would shape up, no change.
TP-Link Archer C7 V2.0 IL
Release: 31924, the last.
The router's IP address on the right up header and "Web IP" on status page is different from external IP address of all my computers in LAN (tested from few of it). It happened 1-st time before a few days.I use the cable connection and my IP not got changed for years. And now the IP, that show my router is the old, well known address.
What is may to be?

@Bor
do you use Tor or Hydra or some sort of VPN?
I know that ddwrt supports TOR (anonymity network)...
Thank you!
Nothing from it. Suddenly I got security alert from Google about strange usage of my mail account from some address. The password was changed by myself, the router show me my general IP address. But all internet services show me other address, the address of "hacker".
The first thing was about new VPN on my smartphone (I use wi-fi only on it) because some installed program. I checked from laptop - it's not hacked - the same address. OK, I tested over wire LAN connection and got other address.
It was very strange and I wrote the msg here.

I performed a web flash from r30731 to r31924. I initially did not do any resets and when it finished uploading, I was expecting to see the page where I would then press the continue button but I did not see it. It would then show me a blank white page that is constantly trying to load. The router was unreachable at this point but the WLAN/LAN was still functional. After waiting 30 minutes, I decided to reset the router by pressing and holding the reset button for 30 seconds while left on. After that, the router appeared to go back to default settings as WLAN was not working anymore. I then waited a few minutes and then performed the 30/30/30 reset and that finally made the router configuration page accessible. I was hoping I wouldn't have to redo all of my settings but looks like I had to. Unfortunately, forgot to take screenshots of my previous configuration so kind of had to remember what I did before.
Interestingly, after updating, I am not experiencing the low download speeds that you would get if using DD-WRT with Comcast before so I guess no need to do the iptables command to get that issue resolved. Also, with a few bugs fixed, my network throughput has finally recovered. Back on r30731, my network throughput speed was capped at around 50 mbps and with the new update, I can actually do transfers of around 150 mbps.

I have not upgraded in several months. After going to this latest version, I found that I lost my Vonage VOIP capability, even with a reset of NVRAM.
After going backwards through various revisions. I had to go back to R21277 to get my VOIP Vonage box to connect to its service.

With regards to B@R, something real is going on here.
My Archer C7 v2-US also forced an IP changeover from my ISP. I upgrade to every new beta, and this is the first time this has happened, and, like B@R, I've had the same assigned IP for over a year. the new IP was NOT correctly reported on the web interface until I power-cycled the unit.
Additionally, I'm having extremely (*extremely*) slow connection to almost every type of service (HTTP, UDP, samba, ftp); however, once service is established downlink speed is fantastic. I did a speed test (service is rated for 100/100 mbps), and whereas usually I get 105/90 , I got ~95/2 or 95/1. This is a big problem for me.
Not running anything special, no QoS, VPN, disks, printers. Simply using as a wifi router.
Restarting not help me - the same strange IP, different from my old from web interface. Very strange results on dslreport speedtest, a few times more, than my ISP line definitions. With and without QoS. Reset not changed the things.
