I just bought a RT-AC1200G+ for 66€ in Spain.

The only thing I am missing is the ability to do a OpenVPN in Bridge mode... Hope you guys can get dd-wrt to the model, and I will be pleased to test it.

Thanks!

Big mistake of you to buy a router that's not even supported, because waiting for the release doesn't mean it will be good and stable on it once it's out, so it will be a few months after that probably, as it almost always has been.

The original thread was split due to the original request being for the original cheap MediaTek device.

Another thread that was started and now locked, for reference on users still wanting this router supported:

https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=322476

I will contact the developer to see if there is any new development, but as of r45735 release today, there is still no firmware image that supports this router. Thanks.

P.S. Broadcom hardware is not high priority to support development on.

I don't see anyone supporting this thing currently. Pretty sure without one in hand, FreshTomato won't add support anytime soon.
