i do not have in house trained personell so i would use them. a consultant is one with a wide and deeper knowledge in a subject to whom service in that area can be acquired for a fee. and that is exactly what i want to do. So i guess you know the result.

i have an idea and i need to implement it so i need a consultant or expert in dd-wrt to design and configure the network for me

gmidia, the purpose of this forum is to help people with their projects. If you are going to do this yourself but just need information on how to proceed then you should state your projects requirements.

If you need on-site support to do the project for you then you should use your local IT resources.

The authors of DD-WRT operate this website and they are also available for custom programming and configurations, for a fee.

I have same issue. I don't want to waste another 8 hours on this nonsense. I just want to pay someone. IT people I have contacted in my area don't know crap about this. A resource of knowedgeable people who can set up a home network including a ww-drt router would be awesome. Can you tell me exactly how to find a knwledgeable person and where?
