Kong's DD-WRT build 31085M - 01/04/2017 has been released: http://desipro.de/ddwrt/K3-AC-Arm/

Your reports for Broadcom units are greatly appreciated !

This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build. This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware and SPECIFIC build (e.g. 29440_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin). Do not ask questions about your specific router or how to configure it in this thread; create your own thread to discuss any specific problems you have or need resolved. Please also do not respond to such questions. This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless. If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build.

Thanks for the great work!
Just flashed this on a newly purchased ac3200, so far so good.

One minor bug though, the either port mapping is wrong on this device:

"physical" -> "mapped"
w -> 1
1 -> w
2 -> 4
3 -> 3
4 -> 2

Router: Buffalo WZR-1750DHP
Firmware: v3.0-r31085M
Kernel: Linux 4.4.39 SMP armv7l
Status: Not working
Reset: NO
updated via web interface
Services used: cifs, smbd, snmpd, sshd, https, openvpn server

Looks like dnsmasq broke on this build - I was not able to get it to resolve anything for me:

; <<>> DiG 9.10.3-P4-Debian <<>> google.com @192.168.1.1
;; global options: +cmd

;; MSG SIZE rcvd: 28

Keep in mind that since there is no realtime clock and if DNS does not resolve for the router, the time will be set at Jan 1, 1970, which breaks your OpenVPN certs.
AFAIK this version is probably a no-go.

Had to roll it back to 31060M (forgot to save a copy of 31070) where everything works again.

Yes little typo , will be fixed in 30min, it only worked if encryt dns was enabled.

I didnt yet upgrade as I did my setup yesterday on DD-WRT v3.0-r31060M kongac (01/03/17) and so far couldnt find any faults ...

@Kong would it be possible to post a changelog to validate if certain issues exist/have been resolved and to see what sort of changes were introduced to see if applicable and what to look out for in detail? I cant seem to find a changelog on your ftp either so I do wonder if this could be changed ... not sure if this is too much of an ask but it would surely be helpful from my perspective ...

cheers for the good work Kong its much appreciated

You called the update when there was no build on the ftp. It is up now. Dnsmasq issue is resolved now, dnscrypt-crypt should be fine after reboot and includes latest dnscrypt-proxy. Also upnp port forwards should exist after reboot unless clear at boot is enabled.

Thanks, Kong. New update went through successfully now.
But I see an issue with dnsmasq option:
I have set cache-size which is not taking effect, shows always 1500 instead of 10000 set in dnsmasq option:

cache-size=10000
I can confirm the syslog report the update:
Jan 4 18:00:00 asusrt5k3 daemon.notice dnscrypt-proxy[1645]: Proxying from 127.0.0.1:30 to 208.67.220.220:443
Jan 4 18:00:00 asusrt5k3 daemon.info dnsmasq[1655]: started, version 2.77 cachesize 10000

However, process doesn't show this update:

1655 1 root S 3120 0.6 0 0.0 dnsmasq -u root -g root --conf-file=/tmp/dnsmasq.conf --cache-size=1500
1656 1655 root S 3096 0.6 0 0.0 dnsmasq -u root -g root --conf-file=/tmp/dnsmasq.conf --cache-size=1500

That's exactly how dnsmasq works, config option override arguments, this way our default and your custom value do not collide and your custom value is preffered by dnsmasq, as you can see in the log entry.

Kernel: Linux 4.4.39 #194 SMP Wed Jan 4 23:39:50 CET 2017 armv7l
Status: Seems okay
Reset: NO
updated via web interface
Services used and tested: cifs, smbd, snmpd, sshd, https, openvpn server

Yep, looks like dnsmasq is working just fine again - had some minor issues with jffs2 that required me to clean out the partition (the router went through an upgrade from 21015M to 29300M earlier this week), but once it was cleared the issues went away.

OpenVPN server is once again v2.4.0, so make those config directive changes ASAP.

SNMPd does not start up right after up-flash, but twiddle settings via the GUI and everything works just fine again.
