This is the Broadcom forum. Your router is a Marvell unit. _________________ I am far from a guru, I'm barely a novice.
People there's a report form for a reason. Use it.
OK...let's hear the reason?????
It's quite sad and unfortunate that specifically you ask that, having your amount of experience here. And I'm pretty sure you deleted my comment the first time I posted it. The report is useful for someone else that might be in your same situation (same router) but hasn't upgraded yet. For example on your report, have you done a reset? If so, how through UI or CLI? What was your previous build? Uptime?. I think you got the point. It's aimed to be informative to others that might be in doubt to upgrade, and also it's useful as an input to devs.
I'm not trying to be a bummer just that saying "I have X router, this build works" is barely of any use to anyone, users or devs.
Routers: AC68U - AC3200 - WRT1900ACS (I know this last one is Marvel)
OpenVPN stopped to work 100% and when roll back to previous version I saw the openvpn.conf has been kind of altered. It works eith this roll back, but I don't why there are new lines into file that I have been removing the full OpenVPN folder to be generated again and are regenerated altered anyway.
I did the test with thes 3 units as it manages the 3 different VPN server settings I have and due the results I didn't applied to all the other units that acts as client. _________________ 7 x Broadcom BCM5300 chip rev 1 - Asus RT-AC66U ----> v3.0-r31899 giga (04/24/17)

Actually...I didn't. I, in general, do NOT delete posts. (except for SPAM)
Your comments for an explanation have merit. I was thinking more along the lines of the Devs looking at the "format" and not individual users. I highly doubt the Devs even look at these threads after posting a build. There are problems that I've reported years ago that go unchecked...and still have issues....exa. the K26 builds past 26125 having Repeater issues....they still do and nothing has been done. I've even stopped reporting issues since they never seem to be checked/investigated. My interest in the project has definitely waned. But I'm still around when the mode strikes.

That's fair enough and understandable. I wasn't specifically aiming to your post to be honest but others with way less experience on this forum. Keep hope high. Cheers m8

Well you are right regarding repeater bridge, I have tested a lot of firmware and 21676_NEWD-2_K2.6 and 30826_NEWD-2_K3.x_mega are working (for my linksys WRT320) but firmware in between does not.
However I do support Xeon2k8 is his quest for proper formatting , and I have had good support and help from Kong in the past, so the devs are listening (but probably not always ) _________________ Routers:Netgear R7000, R6400v1, R6400v2, EA6900 (XvortexCFE), E2000, E1200v1, WRT54GS v1.

There is just one dev, that is working on any K26 units, as I only had one single unit in the past, thus stopped builds for them a while ago and therefore do not even look at any code for these old routers..
It is hard for me to believe, that you are so disinformed, that you don't know that and as forum sherrif you should also know what unit receive attention. _________________ KONG PB's: http://www.desipro.de/ddwrt/

Yet another D-Link bricking build, thank you for posting your experience, now I can skip on this build, I'm using DIR-880L and it has been exactly like that (the issues you reported) for numerous recent builds, I hope this is fixed soon

Guys. I keep getting WiFi drops. I have two identical WRT320's, and the one with the old firmware (listed above), doesn't have the periodic wifi drops.
I hope it's not hard to tell when the bug was introduced because there's almost a full year between the two versions.
