Ever since r30826, the 5Ghz radio on my WNDR3700 (v1) has not worked. When I revert back to r30805, the 5Ghz comes back immediately, so I believe that something broke between r30805 and r30826. It is broken in r30880 as well.

I saw in another post that someone with a v4 had the same problem, so I thought I would mention it to let others know.

You can try to open up a ticket on the SVN Timeline: http://svn.dd-wrt.com/timeline

However, before you do, I would suggest you gather more info.

What are your current wireless settings, including advanced ones? I would also suggest creating a system log server (https://github.com/MaxBelkov/visualsyslog) and get a system log file from the router.

I can confirm the same it happening, the last 2 builds 5ghz is not functional as AP/WDS AP. My other unit running as a WDS Station is working just fine.

I am using AP/WDS AP using HT40 in N-Only mode.

Put the 2.4 on HT20 see if all works then.
Just wondering if same bug as the AR9344 on the wndr3700v4.... probably not exactly same but most likely a related cockroach

Confirm the same issue with the 5GHz radio failing with build r30880 on a WNDR3700 v1 with the 2.4GHz radio set at 'Dynamic 20-40MHz'. Setting the 2.4GHZ radio to HT 20 ('Full 20 MHz') made the 5GHz radio available again.

setting 2.4ghz to HT20 did fix it. Honestly, are there any device using HT40 on 2.4?

many? nearly every wifi nic in desktops/laptops can be easily set to use ht40, basically any configurable wifi interface in a device can use it

I have the same problem as other users, the 5Ghz radio is not visible by any device.

Here is current configuration

Already tried suggested edits (channel width) but no changes
