I ended up flashing both partitions with different DD-WRT versions, but had some issues with stability. Wanted to go back to stock, but don't know how? I believe kong has firmware flashes to go back to stock on the 1900 series but not 3200 yet. Any ideas? Thanks!

PM Kong to see if he will create the DDWRT to factory image for the WRT3200ACM?

Thanks, should have thought of that sooner. Just reached out.

I don't have a 3200acm, so please take this with a huge *****warning try at your own risk***** caveat, but, a while back i tried to flash back to Linksys stock on my WRT1200 from a Brainslayer build using Linksys firmware from their site just to see what would happen, and all it did was boot me back into DD-WRT. I mention that just to say that if you really need to go back to stock and can't wait until Kong comes out with a build that it might not hurt to try with Linksys original firmware from their site, it probably won't work, but who knows.

Before you do that though, you should make sure that it does have two partitions and behaves like the WRT1xxx series, meaning you should make sure you can use the three failed boot method to get to the working partition in case things go sideways. If you aren't already aware of the three failed boot method or how to check your partitions, the instructions are in the second post here -

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually tried that to see if it would work, but did not. This has been a learning experience for me, that is for sure. I didn't even realize there were two partitions before I started. A case of getting to excited about the new hardware and getting DD-WRT on it before doing enough research on how to back out if I needed to.

No luck yet. I've got a usb to ttl adapter on the way and am going to try serial access to the boot loader and flashing with stock. Not having done this before, I'm a little apprehensive, but seems fairly straight forward. Will probably try that over the weekend.

So, I'm pretty sure I just made my second mistake. The cables that came with my usb ttl cable are a 2.54mm pitch. Looks like (and now from my research) the router pins have a 2.0mm pitch. I think I'll either need to find a converter or get a different usb ttl cable. If the one you get out of the box works, please let me know which one you bought. Hope you have better luck!

@mperin
I would be helpful to others if you posted how you recovered your WRT3200ACM.
