I have WRT1900AC v1 that I just installed dd-wrt. Everything is working great except IPv6 and spent last day trying to get it working.

I am currently on Kong's build 30700 (9/27) and also tried BS 30731.

Here is what I did.
IPv6 Enabled
IPv6 Type: DHCPv6 with Prefix Delegation
Prefix Length: 64 (default)
Static DNS1: Blank
Static DNS2: Blank
MTU: 1480 (default)

Dhcp6c custom: Disabled
Dhcp6s: Disabled
Radvd: Enabled
Radvd custom: Disabled


With above setting, I can ping IPv6 addresses from the router's SSH interface. However, I cannot ping IPv6 addresses on the Internet from my PC. I can ping local IPv6 addresses, including the router.
So, it seems dd-wrt is not routing or passing IPv6 traffic to the internet.

IPv6 worked fine with Linksys official firmware on default setting (there wasn't any option really.)

It is not critical that I have IPv6, but I would like to get it working if possible.

How do I get IPv6 working?

I don't know what happened, but IPv6 just started working after testing several different configurations, then changing back to original configuration few times.


Now it is working the way it should be. I hope it stays that way.

After few days of using IPv6, it has stopped working. Cannot ping from my desktop and cannot ping from the router.
After rebooting router, it works for a day or less, then stops working again. IPv6 connection seems very unstable.

Any idea why and how to fix?
