using nocatsplash with m2 and WRT1900AC

Hello guys
I need to setup a simple captive portal for my area, for this i want to use nocatsplash of dd-wrt.
Actually I am able to setup a captive portal for my home with my linksys e2500. For the area I want to use a Linksys WRT1900AC directly. If its not possible, can I try another setup...
lets say....edgrouter --------->WRT1900AC (with dd-wrt and nocatsplash enabled)-------------->M2 (for the wireless internet).

Is it possible?
