Hello,
i have a strange problem with my network.
My ISP is Kabel Deutschland and have a Fritz Box 6490 as modem & router.
I use two TP-Link WR1043ND V1 with DD-WRT 30731 as Access Points, which are connected to port 3 & 4 of the Fritzbox.
On port 1 & 2 are two computers Connected.
In the last few weeks i often couldn´t open google search and other google related pages. I got the problem on the computers and my laptop, everything else was fine, only google related services doesn´t work sometimes. In the last few days the problems got more and more and it was nearly impossible to use google services, they were very slow or i couldn´t open them. (I always could open google.de, but then i couldn´t search or couldn´t open the links(search results). I couln´t even download chrome from the google servers, as i wanted to test if its a problem with firefox)
All computers have Win10, Firefox 49.0.1 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2017 installed.
Other things like Amazon Prime Video, Steam downloads worked fast.
So i started searching the problem.
After i disconnected both access points every google service worked fine again. If i connected them again, it went slow again.
Even if no device was connected via wlan, the connections from the computers, who are directly connected to the router, to the google services were incredible slow or impossible.
So i got on the setup page of the access points and then saw that IPV6 is activated.
As a last possibility i deactivated IPV6 on the APs and from that on everything worked fine.
Now my Question is , is it possible that this option affects the computers who are not directly connected to the APs and only google services? (DHCP on the APs is deactivated)
How do I Setup IPV6 on the APs right?

(Sorry if i made linguistic errors, english is not mother tongue)

Hello,
i think i found out what the problem is, the IPv6 configuration of the access points is wrong.
I read a lot about it, but i could't find the right solution for the acccesspoints.

`
Syslog shows me this messages:
Code:
Oct 12 00:48:16 radvd[2829]: our AdvCurHopLimit on br0 doesn''t agree with fe80::3681:c4ff:fef4:38e4

Oct 12 00:48:16 radvd[2829]: our AdvCurHopLimit on br0 doesn''t agree with fe80::3681:c4ff:fef4:38e4

Maybe somebody can help me with the IPv6 configuration?

Hey, almost the same configuration here (1043v1, 1043v2, 3600v1 behind FB 6490 Cable) and after using this setup for quite some time I would recommend to just leave IPv6 disabled.
As long as you don't depend on reaching your APs on your LAN via IPv6 there aren't any downsides and your other clients will still get IPv6 addresses from your FritzBox DHCP.

(I for one think IPv4 addresses are a tad bit easier to remember and they are completely sufficient for my everyday LAN needs Very Happy )

Edit:
Oh and yeah, I tried configuring IPv6 correctly, as well. Didn't have any luck either.
