So, I bought this wrt1200ac late last year, so I'm sure I have version 1. I saw the new firmware update the day it released and said, "what the hell"...I flashed my router with the new version 2. It seems to work just fine. I'm not noticing any problems, though I'm not an expert user. I did the sysinfo login (192.168.1.1/sysinfo.cgi)and got a ton of information. It appears version 2 is on partition 1. Here is the first few lines of data from that sysinfo. (I hope that I am not divulging sensitive router info). Has anybody else installed v2 on a v1 wrt1200ac? Is there something I should be looking for specifically regarding compatibility? I currently pay for Comcast Extreme 250 and am getting around 290mbps down/and around 30 up...with 24 channels locked down and 3 locked up (as per modem).
