Hello,

I have used an ASUS WL 500G V2 as external accesspoint for some years now.

I'm still pleased with it, the only disadvantage now, is that it is becoming too slow.

My main us is outdoors. (I have a pretty large garden)

What would you advise that I get, in order to have some more speed, for multiple devices?
My main netwotk im home is now 1Gb..

For higher speed, you need AC routers. Of course, to enjoy the benefit of AC speed, your remote clients need to support AC as well. As for router, I recommend R7000, many reviews said it has very good range.
