Weird, I have hard times with 5ghz. Is your ssid broadcasting enabled?
Mine is off. I have tried every possible mode and option out there and its combination besides turning ssid broadcasting on...
Maybe it could be the only reason of bug

Okay, that was it, turning ssid broadcast back on solved the problem.
So there's a bug - when ssid broadcast is disabled, after couple of hours you can't connect or reconnect to it when you leave and reenter WiFi area.
