- the Operating System and / or kernel version of the Wifi client you use(d) (for testing);
- a description of the problem (high latency - in ms - and / or - throughput is
capped at 25mbps or below).
The mwlwifi driver version can be found by running the following command on you're router:
strings /lib/ath9k/mwlwifi.ko | grep -i 10.
Latency can be tested by pinging a server or using speedtest.net
Please note that latency over wired LAN is normal; the issue seems limited to WLAN.
If there's a big difference between latency over LAN and latency over WLAN you're probably affected.
I have issue #1. The wifi performance is capped at 25-30mbps.
my latency seems normal.
Router: wrt1900AC
BUILD: 29409
Driver version :10.3.0.17-20160324
wl0 - Radio Settings: AP mode with ng-mixed wpa2-aes, ch#1 20/40 upper.
wl1 - Radio Disabled
Client(s) I've tested wifi speed with include, Mac and Windows hosts. I've also tested with iperf between two routers. No matter what when connected to the wrt1900ac I never get higher than 30mbps,and 20mps-25mbps is the normal. _________________ Location (urban) - 1x Linksys EA8500 (AP wlan0 & wlan1 enabled)
