Hey folks. Im new here. First time caller, long time listener. I need some help.

As of this morning Linksys and DDWRT announced they are supporting DDWRT firmware for the WRT series routers. I have yet to find a firmware that works for the version 2.0 WRT1900acs. I have found the wrt1900ac in the database, but not the S, and definitely not v2.

Anyone have a stable build for this model: WRT1900ACSV2

Here is the link to the announcement.

This? ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2016/01-02-2016-r28647/linksys-wrt1900acs/
I'm not sure it's the right one.
Look,at this thread http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=288564
It's in the sub forum for your router.

Thanks for the reply. I have gone through both of those already, tried w/e firmware was for the ACS but keep getting an error when it is uploaded to the router.

"Unexpected Error

ErrorIncompatibleConfigVersion
We've encountered an unexpected error. If the issue continues, please visit our Technical Support site. "

I know these things are new and awesome. But wouldnt that give dev teams the push to get it done? Smile

Anyone have another firmware that has worked on the WRT1900ACS V2?

Why not ask in the appropriate forum. People with your router go there. They aren't looking here.

Are you sure you have a WRT1900ACS V2 and not a WRT1900AC V2. I dont see a V2 of the ACS listed anywhere

BS K3 builds will not boot on ACS. I was able to flash Kong K3 build on both the ACv1 and ACS. http://desipro.de/ddwrt/K3-AC-MVEBU/

ACv1 https://wikidevi.com/wiki/Linksys_WRT1900AC
ACv2 https://wikidevi.com/wiki/Linksys_WRT1900AC_v2
ACS (same hardware has ACv2, but higher clock speed) https://wikidevi.com/wiki/Linksys_WRT1900ACS

How to identify which WRT1900 version based on serial number:

There is no evidence to suggest that there even IS an ACS V2.

According to Linksys there is an AC V1, AC V2, and an ACS.

I ordered a AC instead of the ACS. There are a couple threads here asking for help with a ACS Ver. 2. I did not want to end up with something I could not use.

There has been some confusion about this, and I think it has to deal with the FCC# on the bottom. Looking at the sticker on the bottom of my ACS it shows xxxx-WRT1900ACV2...
One sure fire way to tell is looking at the front. If your router shows WRT1900ACS, its a WRT1900ACS.
There is no ACS v2 YET??? lol

Oh yeah, the 'S' stands for S&%T!!!

Nope, you are incorrect.

If there was a a WRT1900ACS v2, then there would be a link to the v2 firmware from the official Linksys support page. The ONLY link on that page is to v1 firmware.

Lots of confusion about this... The ACS was released not long ago. There is only version 1 of that hardware.
