This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build. This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware and SPECIFIC build (e.g. 28882_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin). Do not ask questions about your specific router or how to configure it in this thread; create your own thread to discuss any specific problems you have or need resolved. Please also do not respond to such questions. This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless. If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build.

Errors: No errors... but still Gigabit LAN speed issue
Little improvement on my Gigabit LAN speed issue:
- now it goes around 70MB/s but not beyond
- better than 60MB/s with r28788
- still very far from the 90-100MB/s with r25974 (that I've been using over the last year)
Correction: after some other tests, it does seem to start at 100MB/s but quickly slows down towards 70MB/s.

First time flashing this model to DD-WRT and noted 2 things while configuring it.
1. When disabling the 5GHZ radio, the LED stays on. Confirmed radio is off but LED illuminates. Rebooted, no change. 2.4GHZ LED goes off after disabling.
2. When selecting Wide HT40 Channel Width in 2.4GHZ radio, channel changes to "Auto" after save. Drop down has no other options but "Auto". Click Save a 2nd time and then channels 5-11 show up. What happened to 1-4? HT20 has all the channels available in the drop down.
Update:
2. Guess this is normal depending if upper or lower is selected.
3. Front LEDs work but they do not show any activity flashing at all. They all stay solid on.

Edit: Reset to defaults on 28882 and USB was still not working. Restored to 28647 and USB is functioning normally.
