Mal ne bescheidene Frage:
Kann ich die X86 Version von DD-WRT auch auf einem "normalen" PC installieren?? Um genau zu sein: Ein Pentium 3 mit einer 3Com Karte (nutzt bei einer gewöhnlichen Linux Installation den 3c59x Treiber) und einer D-Link 570TX mit 4 Ports (nutzt den Tulip Treiber).

Würde es funktionieren das Image z.B einfach auf eine Festplatte schreiben und die dann einzubauen?

Dann könnte ich vielleicht endlich mal aus der alten Kiste einen Router machen der mit T-Home anstandslos läuft (von wegen VLAN und IGMP und so...) Very Happy

ja das funktioniert, allerdings ist am besten ein CF to IDE adabpter zu benutzen, da du eine festplatte eigentlich nicht brauchst, eine CF karte , 64mb(3-10 euro) gross reicht vollkommen, solche CF zu IDE adapter gibts bei ebay für 1-10 euro ...
