This release contains a handful uncommitted changes/fixes, you will notice a few while you browse through the webif.

The lcd display on my workstation broke down over the holidays, so I'm kind of handicapped right now. I prefer working with svn through my customized kdesvn. Thus will merge my fixes/enhancements once I'm back in business.

The Setup > MAC Address Clone page now loads successfully (crashed on 28575M for me).

IPv6 works the same as before... I'm on Comcast's DHCPv6 and sometimes it works on boot and sometimes it doesn't with these builds. A reboot often fixes it, as does going into IPv6 and toggling from disable->apply->enable->apply.

Aside from the MAC Address Clone bug the previous build (28575M) had been running here for 4 days straight on a R8500 acting as my main router. No issues. Working quite well, in fact. Great for an inaugural build! Thanks, Kong! Happy new year, all. Wink

I'm getting reboots every few hours with this build on my R8500. If I had to guess, I'd say it was NVRAM filling up. I'm sitting well above 55KB (max 64KB). I need to try a full reset and rebuild from scratch to see if maybe I did something initially that got it SO high.

I woke up this morning and my unit reset itself to defaults and uptime says 15 minutes, it must be rebooting itself. And I don't know how all settings got wiped. The web gui changed and said I had an R7000. I reflashed and reset to defaults now. Will see if it sticks and does not reboot.

And after reset it said 6700 again?

The way detection is done for the R6700 vs 7000 it means it would be corrupted nvram (e.g. power outage), but if the detection stillclaims it is a R7000, then there is a problem with the partitioning.

Note the driver in my builds hasn't changed in a few month, thus if it ran fine before it should still run fine.

I'm sure the R8500 won't be running stable with the older driver, I have to upgrade the driver for the R8500, Netgear and Asus both have stability problems with their 1.4Ghz broadcom drivers.

A power outage is possible. On a reset today it correctly said R6700. The re-flash is working fine right now. I will keep monitoring. Thank you for your great work, happy new year

Updated build for R8X models, it comes with the latest driver for these two models.

old version was: 7.48.3 (r577083) FWID 01-1b04d4e9
new version is: 7.49.6 (r588839) FWID 01-e2c7b0e

Should work much better on the R8500.

Corrected EX6200 build which missed openssl lib is up too.

By the way here is a rough list of uncommitted changes:

-some wireless fixes if VAPs are used
-ipv6 tunnel update url field
-airtime fairness option
-tx power option auto/manual
