I bought a bunch of energy monitoring smart switches a few months ago. I have four already re-flashed and in operation but I have four more to flash (ESPHome).

bootloop could be caused by many things ..

@mrjcd in search of a cheap EA8500, I found a local networking gear repairman who has a stock of 25 EA8500 all with the issue of boot-loop/reboot. Does using serial to flash dd-wrt will fix it or not?

yes VHT80 2x2 has a maximum data rate of 866Mbit that is net 550-600Mbit

the EA8500 can't do more anyway, because the processor is too slow for 4x4
