Thanks!!! You are brilliant. This one was driving me crazy. Works like a charm now. I had enabled JFFS2 once in the past on this router.

(1) telnet in, erase nvram, power down, power up
(2) flashed ddwrt-to-netgear-fw-r7800.bin (from your site) with "reset"

Did exactly as you said and same result. Powered down after erase nvram in telnet?

Just loaded up 6/30 build (30080). The USB NAS problem I was having with 30055 is gone - it is fine now. No immediate issues.
