This is irelavent.

He is talking about trying to get 200mbps on the 5ghz band. Not 2.4ghz.

There is plenty of space on 5ghz. 2.4ghz should be used as a secondary radio nowadays anyway.

Thanks, I made a quick update to the R7000 installation wiki referring to this thread.

I won't have time to do uptime testing until December but I'll do it then and post more updates to the install ...

increase channel width to 40mhz. leave channel set to auto. That will allow you to receive 200mbps over wifi.
