How did you go back to stock ?

I have the same router but don't have the issues you are having, I found 5GHZ flaky for a time but it seems stable now.

I have a 1900acs.

Flash and restore of settings went well.

I am noticing that the firmware shows I have only 1 core instead of 2.

Has anyone else notice this?

Yep, that's exactly what I did and it worked just fine.

Awesome..thanks no chance it saved the settings I guess ? ?? Smile

That said, I can't get the guest to work with Kong on my 1900ACS and 5Ghz ...

Can the BS build just be flashed over the top of Kong ?? That is, can I download the BS build and use the currently installed Kong firmware to load the BS build ?

There is no intermediate firmware, there is one if you flash from linksys fw and there is one you flash from dd-wrt firmware.

Years ago the initial images were special images that were smaller ...

I you flashed ddwrt from the Linksys gui, just telnet in and issue these commands, will boot back in partition one.

ubootenv set boot_part 1
reboot

Does this work with the kong build 1900ACS ? ...
