I have no issues with my WRT32X it's an excellent and fast router for wired, wireless, and USB 3.0 storage overall. DD-WRT and OpenWrt work great with too.

Not sure what issues you' ...

Anyone know if this build has the new Linksys wifi firmware that BrainSlayer talked about adding here?

Someone said they saw performance and stability ...

DD-WRT and OpenWrt both pull from the mwlwifi open source driver. This driver is 'complete' according to Marvel which means, while these devices have a ton of potential are unlikely to ever improve fu ...

The thing is that DD-WRT (and OpenWrt for that matter) work excellent with these routers for what they are able to achieve. The problem is the Wi-Fi driver (mwlwifi) and the firmware is handled by a d ...

I got the WRT32X refurb model off Amazon for $110 late last year. Router has been working extremely well on both the oem firmware and OpenWrt (dual boot). Great LAN/WAN speeds, A+/A Bufferbloat and qu ...

No, unfortunately there has been almost no effort for mwlwifi in a while for the 88W8964 (WRT3200ACM / WRT32X routers). Marvel has practi ...

While we're making recommendations any good build to try for WRT32X yet? The Linksys firmware runs kernel 4.4.14 and it's based off OpenWrt, thus OpenWrt 18.06-rc1 runs very well. However looking to t ...

Would you recommend the ac86u over the r7800?
Given the problems with the r8000/8000p, I almost believe netgear got lucky with the r7800. But the r7800 firmware ui is painful to look at. Almost like ...

dd-wrt is very unstable on R7000. Stay on Netgear stock or try Fresh Tomato. Both are stable.

Is this is a joke? The R7000 is often considered the #1 router for DD-WRT. It has had the best all arou ...

Look at the r7500v2, ea8500 or r7800.
Or if money is no concern, lol, the r9000

Go with the r7800. You have your choice of OEM, DD-WRT (Kong) or Voxel firmware.

@m0j0 I second this. Definit ...
