Broke the wifi on the R9000 and could not get the radio's to broadcast even though status page said on. Played with some changes and save/apply buttons but did not come back to life.

The XR500 is the same hardware as the R7800, you simply need to download the appropriately named firmware for the XR500 in the build folders. Everything else will be the same, otherwise.

With a setting like that I get no more than 150 M as if HT40 is ignored. So is of no use to set it that way if devices can't understand what the router is trying to do.
