I have a TP-Link TL-WR841ND v8 with firmware v3.0-r30949 std (12/15/16) connected to a modem.

I got it to work. It seems that cron doesn't like the sh extension on scripts.

I also made sure that it had executable permissions. chmod +x /jffs/gen_host

it depends...if you are using router in cascade mode, and you run on router 2 DNS from router 1 its normal

you can even add this line on router 2 if you don't want to bind DNS

save in firewall ...
