I was able to turnoff automount and use findfs to mount my drives using drive-label last year. It worked well.

I did check and most of the channels in the picklist show up as valid in the wiki. Most channels appear to be valid and I checked the settings from msoengineer as well

Correct set 2.4 as AP. It has nothing to do with your wds.

WDS AP is access point host & WDS Station is client. Choose which radio will be host, set another router as client.
