Same subnet 192.168.1.x so it's something else I changed. I'll start working backwards knowing it should work. Thanks for the confirmation.

Since I posted that, I discovered the secondary nodes d ...

You have the basics down. Set the 5G-1 ssid, pw, channels all the same. I would even go as far as to NOT used MIXED for Network Mode, but feel free to experiment.

Also the router IP makes no diffe ...

I've got two MX4300's setup on Mesh/802.11s wlan0 and users are able to access the Internet. But, they can only see devices on their side of the two routers. I'm guessing it's a security issue but ha ...

The point is, kernel and alt_kernel should not exist in dd-wrt...at all. Even the ipq8174-mx4200.dtsi file shows them to be linux and linux2, so something is not right. While it IS most certainly a lo ...

You cannot do vlan tagging over wifi unless you go through a layer 2 tunnel of some sort. Some options in dd-wrt that should work for this would be EoIP, Mikrotik or VXLan tunnels. Apparently it's als ...

The easiest way to verify if your mesh is connected is from the Status/Wireless tab. This is a connection between mx4300<>mr7350 using wlan0. The image is from the mx4300.

Has anyone installed entware on to one of these?
Yes, it works great provided you install the correct version. Try aarch64 (arm64) instead. This is a 64bit CPU after all, and a 64bit dd-wrt.

wget ...

I actually can still connect to the WIFI for the AP.
But got blocked on `ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED` error when going to 192.168.50.255 in browser.
Yeah, I kinda figured that. It's reset time.

Assuming you mean reset it to dd-wrt defaults, you can just press the reset button on the bottom of the router for 10-12 seconds. Then power off and power back on and it should be reset. Just remember ...
