Good to hear you got it working. It is a bit odd these Netgear devices need so many resets to get the radios to turn on and get connected.

Yes both routers, R7500v2 and R7800.
Broke out my spare 7800 and fiddled with it couple hours tonight.
Tried with/without passphrase, different channels, SFE off, more.
Not going to happen.
