Or access the webUI with the same browser as your internet surfing. Also, use private mode and no extensions loaded. Firefox ESR portable or Pale Moon portable work great; so does good ol' IE.

5Ghz band is only good for the room that the AP is in, usually. This is a given. It is not as deep-penetrating as the 2.4 band.
