Are you on a Linux 4.9 kernel build or Linux 6.12? Linux 6.12 builds are probably using DSA, which may affect configuration methods.

It was mentioned "elsewhere" that it could make OpenWRT and DD-WRT "banned" in the US, but how would they be able to fingerprint router OSes and violate the right to repair ruling.
