So this means the stable version at the moment also has it fixed i assume.

Is good to know. I did not understand what was the Sane problem, at least it is good to know that it is fixed.

Can't you just install the dd-wrt firmware and then test it?

The latest firmware of linksys does the following:

Firmware 4.30.5
- Resolves UPnP vulnerability reported by SANE


Pretty strange remark i think because SANE is some kind of nickname of course, and ...
