I have done some more searches and realized that DD-WRT v24-sp2 (10/10/09) std - build 13064 is not a good version.

I have noticed that ANY extra characters added after the "real" password are accepted.

This is just an example if i set the password to be Qwerty1 it will accept also Qwerty12 or Qwerty123. ...

Am i the only one who uses ssh tunneling to connect to home from outside?

When using SSH tunneling it feels more secure NOT to use the root login but perhaps i am wrong ...
