kongs automount normally works out of the box. did you label all partitions correctly?
and have you tried formatting the stick as ext2? you shouldn't use ext3 as it wears out your flash cells much ... |

do a wget -O /tmp/prep_optware http://ddwrt.basmaf.com/prep_optware and check the downloaded prep_optware file. somewhere in it should be the correct path

use a windows program called winscp (freeware). You can transfer the file to your pc using winscp, and edit it there, or you can edit it right on the router also using winscp.

I never seen swap allocated, even while the router crashed when it ran out of memory.
So it won't destroy your flash drive. I have to disagree it can happen that it uses the swap, even on my E4 ... |
