isn't there an entry I can make in the firewall rules that says something like 'discard all DHCP requests coming from ethernet port X' ?

This is very odd, I have also many DD-WRT routers in different subnets with static routing and basiclly there shouldnt be possible by design that this DHCP traffic overlaps from one netwok to another ...
