Brainslayer has written that bridge filtering is now disabled by default because it makes everything slower and does not work with SFE.

I have now reset my router and tried it without VLANs and with another device in the LAN

Works out of the box!


Then I updated the router to build r56490 - NO LONGER WORKS!

Seems like bridge ...

If no VLANs are set up on the Linksys router, I don't know where they should come from.

Yes, then eth1 is the correct interface.
eth0 is the bridged deactivated WAN port.

This should be the case if this has not been accidentally swapped in more recent builds.

And certainly unnecessary as millions of others use the same private and non-public IP addresses.
