on a closer inspection of the wiki i see that the instructions only apply up to build 14929 and builds up to 16473 are effected by [url=http://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/1853]this bug

to break the output and give you a prompt, you can send commands same as in busybox but i dunno about using the serial as an 'out'

it works fine usng optware the right way - just install on USB and use the 'service' command to enable/disable what you want.

eggdrop is available as an optware package... just make a small ext3 partition (1gb should be more than enough) and install optware the right way, links in my sig Smile

ok well if that custom build wasn't built with the driver for HFS/HFS+ then you will need to install it...

ssh/telnet to the router and do:

lsmod

search the output for hfs.o/hfsplus.o

what build have you flashed to the AP (build number)

ie i use the recommeneded 14929

it *should* work... but may not as the host router is not running dd-wrt.
