That is one solution but what about the equipment without the possibility to connect other way than Wi-Fi? I have such a case now - my wireless scale - it has only button for WPS

Got sth more Smile iperf between two devices attached to the router via cable reaches full speed 1Gbit Ethernet.

Doing the same via Wi-Fi leads to the same results as when iperf-ing router directly.

So current status is that we do not have tool for reliable testing of LAN throughput as iperf works a bit strange :/

I just use telnet to connect to the router and there iperf3 is already installed, so I run it as a server and play with the devices attached to the router Wink
