We spent several hours with a technician yesterday trying to diagnose the issue, and 4 of the 8 wires of the cable were somehow shorted.

I also just noticed that my connection is disconnecting and reconnecting quite often. The disconnects don't last long, but enough to be noticed and to lose connection etc. | |
