| Looks like a Broadcom AX device will not be supported by DDWRT as Broadcom is closed source.
Probably also not supported by other third party firmwares because of the same reason. |

Unfortunately very true 
Kernel 5.15 is much better but not as good as the old but no longer supported kernel 4.9. |
