I figured it out. I had to modify the script to include explicit paths to the various commands. I guess it couldn't find timeout or some of the other commands.

Some of your settings don't make sense to me. You're validating DNS replies, but not caching them or encrypting DNS.

That doesn't look like your browser's settings...

Misunderstood the question. I turned off Secure DNS in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.
