Every time I reboot the router, it appears to be indexing the media content. Which takes time.
Not only that, but often times it is not successful - it only indexes some folders, but not all. Then ... |

OK, minidlna works now. I can also see that there is /jffs director.
So, what's the deal with /jffs - do I need a special partition for it or not? |

I've enabled minidlna, and since the GUI suggested I need /jffs, I went ahead to create a 10GB partition on the attached USB drive and entered its UUID to "Mount this Partition to /jffs".

Thanks. I got it working...kinda. On Linux, turned out that I had to use "vers=2.0". On windows, using IP address still doesn't work, but I can use \\DD-WRT. | |

So, I'm new to DD-WRT. I got it installed relatively smoothly (the fact that the web GUI doesn't work with Chrome came as a bit of a surprise, though - but it seems to work fine with Edge).
