Yes, this is possible. You can go the proper way, and do RIP routing; but there is a far easier way for this simple of a setup- static routing.

Are you sure the bottleneck is wireless, and not your uplink?

At the same time you can only get 256k on wireless, try the same test via wired.. It may just be over-saturation of your uplink/ISP... ...
