The list of supported devices says the ar670w is supported with the ralink hardware, are they not similar enough?

thanks for the reply, I need to be able to connect via a wire some of the devices on my network so i wont be turning this into just a wireless access point, im using a crappy D-link router for the NAT ...

I have a cobalt raq 4 server with two nics that I flashed with Centos. I was wondering if anyone has put dd-wrt on this it would make a great router though not wireless..

M-Man, thanks for your reply,

Does this mean that there is no way to get the WLI-TX to function as a router? setting all ports to wan would make it impossible for it to communicate to nodes on my Loc ...
